Abstract

. Islamic boarding schools are a place for the community's need for general and religious knowledge. This need is a signal for Islamic boarding school organizers to have an Islamic boarding school program that prioritizes general and religious achievements. Thus, this study aims to describe the implementation of the Islamic boarding school program at SMK Al Mu'allim Kesugihan Cilacap. This study is a qualitative descriptive study set in SMK Al Mu'allim Kesugihan Cilacap. Data were obtained from the principal, vice principal of curriculum, and teachers. Data were collected by means of interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The validity of the data is seen from the credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability tests. The data were analyzed by means of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings of the study indicate that the implementation of the Islamic boarding school program at SMK Al Mu'allim Kesugihan Cilacap has run optimally through the support of human resources of educators at the school who have been well organized in the formation of students' Muslim personalities. The implementation of the Islamic boarding school education program can also be seen from the school's vision and mission which lead to Muslim personalities. The Islamic boarding school program is carried out by instilling moral values developed in schools through learning the akhlaqul lil Banin book, organizing the tahfidz al-Quran program and memorization of selected letters (BTQ), learning the yellow book, and participating in religious competitions. In general, this finding concludes that the implementation of the Islamic boarding school program at SMK Al Mu'allim is carried out by instilling moral values, organizing the tahfidz program, BTQ, learning books, and religious competitions.
