This study aims to find out the level of foreign language anxiety and find factors that can cause anxiety in BIPA students from Thailand who study in Indonesia. The data collection was conducted using an instrument called the FLCAS (Foreign Language Anxiety Scale) and interview guidelines. The results showed that all Thai students experienced anxiety in the middle level. Language barriers and negative prejudices are factors that cause foreign language anxiety to appear in BIPA students from Thailand. BIPA teachers must be able to create comfortable learning conditions so that foreign language anxiety is reduced.
