Stimulation Of Pelajar Pancasila Song As A Spirit Of Discipline In Creativity Final Competency Test Of Vocational School SMKN 8 Surakarta

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze musically and the lyrical content of the song "Pelajar Pancasila" as a stimulation to provide spirit/character encouragement to strengthen the Pancasila student profile project in facing the final assignment or final competency test for musical arts. PIP (Principal Instrument Practice) individually and as a band ensemble will be tested in March of the 2022/2023 academic year. Observations, interviews, literature data, photos and audio-visual data are methods of obtaining data to analyze the effectiveness of students' Pancasila songs in encouraging creativity in the final competency test. The structure of Pancasila student songs strengthens poetry which can shape students' six characters in a disciplined attitude that influences student creativity. The simplicity of the melody, chords and rhythm psychologically influences students' souls to behave well because when the lyrics of a song are combined with a melody, it will be easy for students to remember to implement in everyday life. There are many writings about movement patterns, rhythm patterns, song lyrics/text, philosophy of wayang characters, and film presentations that are analytically capable of building students' mental character, but researchers have not yet found writings about Pancasila student songs as character builders. This research is not the latest in stimulating character education, but it is hoped that it can strengthen the character of creative discipline through the song "Pelajar Pancasila". It was found that there were articles regarding Pancasila student songs that studied musically, meaning that previous research focused on studying melody, harmony, rhythm and the collaboration of various instruments that characterized ethnic elements. This research focuses more on stimulating Pancasila student songs in improving discipline character to be responsible for increasing students' creativity in carrying out the final competency test.
