Application of POGIL (Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning) Learning Media Audio Visual In Thematic

The purpose of the study was to describe the application of the POGIL (Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning) learning strategy assisted by Audio Visual media in the Thematic learning of fifth grade students at SDN Duren 02 which includes planning, results, and obstacles in implementation. In this study obtained from tests, observations, interviews and documentation. Data analysis is done by reducing the data, presenting the data, then concluded. The results of the research can be described that 1) Planning has been carried out competently by making RPP that is in accordance with the format, easy to understand, and the contents in it are interrelated; 2) The results of this application make students learn independently, actively and critically, have a good understanding of learning, besides that learning is also more fun and students are enthusiastic in the implementation of learning, the results taken from student learning outcomes both in the realm of attitudes, knowledge and skills have been developing well, almost all students reach the KKM that has been set; 3) Barriers to the implementation that occur include lack of learning support facilities, misunderstandings between teachers and students, difficulty understanding material in foreign languages, and there are some students who lack motivation and desire to learn, but all obstacles that occur can be resolved by the teacher.
