The children's storybook Wuri Berani Menegur by Fajriatun Nurhidayati is an effective literacy medium for introducing essential social values to early childhood. Through a simple storyline and characters that are familiar to children, this book teaches them to have the courage to reproach their friends in a polite and empathetic manner. This value is very important because at an early age, children are in the process of character formation, where the ability to express feelings and understand their own limits and those of others begins to develop. The character Wuri serves as a positive role model who shows that reprimanding is not a negative action, but rather a form of concern for inappropriate behavior. Children are encouraged to understand that courage can be demonstrated without hurting other people's feelings. Moreover, this story also instills awareness of the importance of protecting oneself from inappropriate touching and recognizing personal boundaries as part of self-protection. Thus, Wuri Berani Menegur is not just a moral story, but also an educational medium that supports the development of empathy, social courage, and politeness in children from an early age.

The purpose of this article is to explore the application of the values taught by Sunan Gunung Jati in differentiated learning as an effort to realize inclusive education in Indonesia. Inclusive education emphasizes the importance of providing equal access to education for all students, including those with special needs. At the same time, differentiated learning is a pedagogical strategy designed to accommodate differences in learning styles, interests, and abilities of students. The values taught by Sunan Gunung Jati, such as respect for diversity, social concern, justice, and moral-based education, align with the principles of inclusive education and can serve as a strong philosophical foundation in learning practices. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews with teachers, students, and parents, as well as observations and documentation in several high schools in Cirebon that have implemented differentiated learning. The research findings indicate that the integration of the values of Sunan Gunung Jati in differentiated learning not only strengthens students’ character but also creates a more inclusive and meaningful learning atmosphere. Despite facing challenges such as resource limitations, lack of teacher understanding, and rigid curriculum, support from the school community and teacher training have proven to be important factors in the successful implementation. This study recommends enhancing educators’ understanding of local values and implementing differentiation strategies to strengthen fair and socially just education in Indonesia.

This research aims to examine and represent the Seclusion tradition in the life of Raden Ajeng Kartini through relief artworks as a medium of visual and narrative expression. The concept of the work focuses on depicting the marginalized process experienced by Kartini, starting from physical confinement to the freedom of the soul obtained through her writing and progressive thinking. This relief artwork is in the form of three dimensions that combines sculpting and carving techniques on wood media, with an emphasis on visual narratives that are able to convey Kartini's emotions and inner dynamics in a reflective manner. The creation of this work uses the concept of symbols from the artist's feelings according to Suzanne K. Langer, mentioning three principles of art, namely expression, creation, and art form. The creation of this work in the context of methodology, there are three stages of creating craft art, namely exploration, design, and realization. This work is expected to be a means of education and a reminder of the importance of freedom, equality, and the preservation of local culture in the modern era.

This research aims to analyze how these values are conveyed through the actions of the main characters, storylines, and moral messages. The method used is qualitative descriptive, with a content analysis approach, this research is focused on book narrative and illustration. The results show that the main character, Dudung, is described as an enthusiastic child, brave to face challenges, accept defeat with open arms, confident, honest, joyful, grateful, and never give up in sack racing competitions. This book is also an effective and attractive means for teachers and parents in developing emotional intelligence, moral understanding and social behavior of children, supporting the formation of positive character.

The digital era has transformed the humanities into a multidimensional field shaped by technological innovation, economic imperatives, and legal frameworks. While digital humanities open unprecedented opportunities for knowledge creation, cultural preservation, and social inclusion, they also generate complex governance challenges. This paper explores the intersections of ethics, culture, economy, and law in advancing resilient governance for digital humanities. Drawing on global case studies and comparative policy analysis, it examines how ethical AI principles, legal accountability, cultural preservation mechanisms, and economic sustainability can be integrated into coherent policy pathways. The study argues that fragmented approaches, where ethics, economics, and law operate in isolation, fail to address the structural risks of algorithmic bias, data colonialism, cultural commodification, and digital inequality. Instead, the paper proposes a hybrid governance model that combines legal safeguards, economic incentives, and cultural–ethical frameworks to build resilience in digital policy. By embedding humanities perspectives into public policy design, the findings highlight how resilient governance can ensure that digital transformation fosters equity, protects heritage, and strengthens democratic accountability. Instilling the value of independence in early childhood is an important foundation in the formation of character and social-emotional development of children. Futri Wijayanti's book Aku Sudah Besar, published by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia in 2022, presents a simple but meaningful narrative to introduce the concept of independence to children. This study aims to examine the perspective of independence displayed in the book and its relevance to the stages of early childhood development. The method used is qualitative analysis with a child literacy and developmental psychology approach. The results of the analysis show that this book explicitly and implicitly emphasizes the importance of children's ability to carry out daily activities independently. The main characters in this book show physical development and basic abilities such as bathing themselves, eating themselves, and distinguishing themselves from younger siblings. This article discusses the perspective of independence in the book, including strengthening the role of an older brother, a boost in confidence, and an understanding of developmental differences. Through a critical approach, this article also examines the limitations of the book's narrative, such as the lack of conflict and the narrow definition of "being great." This analysis aims to provide practical recommendations for parents and teachers in using books as a tool for learning children's character and independence. The stories and illustrations in the book support the formation of positive self-concept and intrinsic encouragement in children to learn independently.

Rural education often faces structural and cultural challenges, potentially creating a systemic quality gap. This study examines the implementation of Integrated Quality Management (IQM) at SDN Pendreh, combining the principles of Total Quality Management (TQM), learning organization, and community participation, as an effort to optimize basic education. Using a qualitative case study, findings indicate that IQM enhances quality through strengthening visionary leadership, improving teacher competence via peer coaching and reflection, and involving the community in quality oversight. Although barriers such as resource constraints and cultural resistance emerged , IQM implementation proved effective in increasing student learning outcomes and parent satisfaction. This model suggests a systemic quality framework relevant for other rural schools.

This study aims to examine the environmental literacy values contained in the children’s book Gara-gara Ole written by Zulfa Adiputri (2022) and to analyze its implementation in Early Childhood Education (PAUD) learning. The book tells the story of a boy named Ole who unknowingly causes a drainage blockage by carelessly disposing of a plastic cup, and eventually learns the importance of keeping the environment clean. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with content analysis techniques on the text and illustrations, as well as literature studies on the application of environmental values in early childhood education. The results show that Gara-gara Ole contains essential environmental literacy values such as responsibility for waste, ecological awareness, curiosity about natural phenomena, and learning through experience. These values can be implemented in PAUD learning through storytelling, role-playing, and simple projects related to waste management. Therefore, Gara-gara Ole serves as an effective medium to foster love and care for the environment from an early age.

This study aims to describe the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach in exploration activities to improve the critical thinking skills of early childhood students at Kuncup Mekar Kindergarten in Banjareja Village. CTL is a learning approach that links material to real-life contexts, while exploration activities provide space for children to actively explore their surroundings. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects were teachers and children in group B (aged 5–6 years). The results showed that the application of CTL in exploration activities was able to stimulate children's critical thinking skills, such as asking questions, making assumptions, connecting information, and drawing conclusions. Learning becomes more meaningful because children are directly involved in the process of discovering knowledge. In conclusion, the CTL approach in exploration activities is effective in improving critical thinking skills in early childhood.

The role of textbooks, which are widely used and serve as official references in the learning process, makes the study of gender representation within them highly important. This research aims to analyze gender bias in Indonesian language textbooks for senior high schools using Sara Mills’ Critical Discourse Analysis, focusing on the subject–object and writer–reader positions. The method employed is descriptive qualitative, with Sara Mills’ Critical Discourse Analysis as the analytical technique. The data sources are the Cerdas Cergas Berbahasa dan Bersastra Indonesia textbooks for Grades X, XI, and XII, published by the Ministry of Education. The data consist of textual excerpts that reveal gender relations. Data were collected through documentation studies, and data validity was ensured using theory triangulation. The results show that: (1) gender bias in the subject–object position appears in the forms of subordination, stereotyping, and violence against women; and (2) gender bias in the writer–reader position is reflected through direct address using first- and third-person pronouns.

In the era of globalization, the flow of information and culture across countries has influenced language practices and the preservation of local culture in Indonesia. These changes bring opportunities for strengthening the Indonesian language in the global arena as well as challenges for the preservation of regional languages and cultural identity. This study aims to examine the influence of globalization on Indonesian language learning and the preservation of local culture through a literature review. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a systematic review of seven scientific articles from the period 2021–2025. The data were analyzed to identify patterns of findings, relationships between variables, and proposed educational strategies. The researchers synthesized the results by considering linguistic, cultural, and language education policy aspects. The analysis steps included literature selection, thematic data extraction, and interpretation of results based on sociolinguistic, cultural anthropology, and ethnopedagogy perspectives. The results of the study show that globalization has a significant effect on shifts in the use of Indonesian and regional languages, as well as the transformation of cultural values among the younger generation. Globalization not only causes cultural erosion, but also opens up opportunities for revitalization through the use of digital technology. The main conclusion of this study is the need for adaptive language education based on local wisdom so that Indonesian can serve as a bridge between global and local values. The contribution of this study lies in the development of a conceptual model for learning Indonesian that is responsive to globalization while supporting the preservation of national language and culture.

Indonesia’s long history of cultural diversity has shaped a complex social landscape where education plays a crucial role in fostering mutual understanding and respect among different ethnic groups. However, history learning in schools often remains dominated by national narratives, leaving local experiences underrepresented. Local transmigration stories rooted in cooperation, adaptation, and intercultural encounters offer rich resources for developing multicultural awareness among students. This study explores how these local transmigration narratives can be used to reconstruct students’ multicultural awareness through the framework of Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT). Employing a qualitative phenomenological approach, data were collected through interviews, focus group discussions, and classroom observations involving history teachers and senior high school students in Metro City, Indonesia. The findings reveal that incorporating local transmigration narratives into history lessons enables students to reflect on the values of tolerance, empathy, and social cohesion within their own community context. Learning through culturally relevant content allows students to connect academic knowledge with their lived experiences, thereby transforming their perspectives on cultural diversity. Teachers serve as facilitators who bridge local heritage and classroom discourse. The study concludes that reconstructing multicultural awareness through local history not only enriches civic and cultural education but also strengthens inclusive and transformative learning practices. It recommends integrating local narratives more systematically into history curricula to nurture multicultural competence and intercultural harmony.

The results of the study show that reflective value is reflected through the process of the main character in realizing mistakes and correcting them, the value of discipline is shown through attitude in using resources. This story is able to provide a positive example for children and become relevant teaching material for PAUD teachers. In conclusion, children's literature such as "Where Is the Nuts of Sipet" has great potential in instilling reflective, disciplined, and frugal characters through fun and meaningful learning.

This study aims to analyze children's behavior in absorbing information without clarification described in the storybook Save Yourself by Dewi Cholidatul and Omega Hanifa. The development of digital technology allows children to access information easily, but they often do not have the critical thinking skills to verify the truth of information. The method used in this study is a literature review, which analyzes the content of stories, characters, and moral values based on child development theory and digital literacy. The results of the study show that the main character, Dun, believes information about an asteroid that will hit the city without checking the truth, thus spreading panic. However, after getting clarification, Dun learned to think more critically and responsibly in receiving and disseminating information. This learning reflects the importance of digital literacy and moral education to teach children to be more careful in filtering information. In conclusion, digital and moral literacy education applied through story media can help children to develop critical, responsible, and wise thinking skills in dealing with information in the digital era.

Regional autonomy in Indonesia has increased the responsibility of local governments to enhance public welfare through optimized local revenue. Parking retribution, particularly from on-street parking, serves as an important source of income for Karanganyar Regency, a densely populated and tourism-oriented area with high potential. However, unregulated parking, inconsistent fee collection, and reliance on manual forecasting have resulted in suboptimal revenue outcomes. Existing methods remain limited, depending on simple calculations or linear projections without utilizing modern computational tools. This study compares classical statistical forecasting and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) deep learning models to predict parking revenue in Karanganyar Regency. The results show that classical methods capture general trends, while LSTM provides higher accuracy and robustness in handling nonlinear and temporal data. The study highlights the importance of advanced machine learning as a digital governance instrument to improve transparency, optimize revenue management, and support data-driven urban policymaking.

One Piece, a 1998 Japanese anime series by Eiichiro Oda, chronicles the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates. This inquiry analyzes the congruence of core narratives between One Piece, which delineates "pirates" as agents of liberation against an oppressive global hegemonic authority, and the maritime history of the Indonesian Archipelago (Nusantara). This study is fundamentally premised on the hypothesis that the label "pirate" in Indonesian history, particularly during the colonial era, was a pejorative construct imposed by the incumbent (colonial) regimes upon resistance groups that challenged monopoly, tyranny, and oppressive systems. Employing a qualitative comparative methodology, this article juxtaposes the fictional construction of the "pirate" in One Piece with the profiles of free seafaring groups in Makassar historically stigmatized as brigands to ascertain shared motives for challenging the unjustifiable exercise of authority. The primary aim is to critically interrogate and deconstruct the hegemonic historical discourse and demonstrate how popular culture can serve as a reflective medium for reinterpreting the agency of maritime figures within the national narrative of resistance. Its principal academic utility resides in advancing a novel interpretive framework for maritime historiography and offering a robust critique of power narratives through the lens of popular culture studies.

This study explores creative strategies in producing artworks that suit collectors' preferences without compromising artistic integrity. The focus of this study is to identify cognitive, emotional, and relational mechanisms, as well as to analyze the influence of artist-collector relationships on the development of artistic strategies. Using a qualitative approach with comparative idiographic case studies, data was obtained through in-depth interviews with artists and collectors. Findings show that artistic creativity manifests itself in three strategies: color palette evolution, theme transformation, and responsiveness to contemporary contexts, which maintain artistic consistency with minimal compromise. This mechanism focuses on emotional adjustment, where artworks are created from the artist's authentic joy, resulting in strong resonance with collectors. Long-term relationships are facilitated through studio visits and curatorial dialogues. This research contributes to the theory of artistic creativity and provides practical insights for young artists and galleries that are responsive to the market.

This study analyzes the transformation of PT Tempo Inti Media Tbk as a legacy media organization in Indonesia in responding to digital disruption and the decline of print media. The research aims to explain Tempo’s strategic adaptation through the development of multiplatform journalism and the restructuring of its business model. This study uses a qualitative case study method with data collected through in-depth interviews, documentation, and observation. The Dynamic Capabilities theory by Teece (2007) is applied to analyze three dimensions of transformation: sensing digital changes, seizing business opportunities, and reconfiguring organizational resources. The findings show that Tempo has succeeded in building a multiplatform strategy through newsroom integration, data-driven journalism, paid subscription services, and digital product innovation. The issue of performance anxiety is a significant challenge in building early childhood confidence. This anxiety is represented by the character Dalo who feels insecure and very nervous when he takes turns showing his abilities. This study aims to analyze the role of storybooks "Hore, Dalo Bisa!" as a narrative medium to overcome performance anxiety. The second goal is to identify the values of courage and confidence that are instilled in the narrative. The method used is a qualitative narrative analysis of the storyline, characters, and moral message. The analysis focuses on how stories facilitate the discovery of self-potential and the management of children's emotions. The main source of data is the storybook "Hore, Dalo Bisa!" by Erminawati. It was found that this story was very effective in overcoming Dalo's anxiety by turning fear into courage. The story teaches children that courage is the key to unlocking hidden potential, as evidenced when Dalo manages to discover his talent in urgent situations. This narrative reinforces intrinsic confidence and instills the important message that every child has his or her own best time to develop. This story is an important tool for early childhood teachers to overcome feelings of insecurity and encourage children to try. This message is critical for addressing performance anxiety in early childhood.

Ideally, nationalism is the basis for national advancement and a prerequisite for achieving a developed civilization. In reality, many students perceive history lessons as tedious, mainly memorizing events, figures, and dates that seem irrelevant to contemporary life. This perception contrasts sharply with the crucial role of history in fostering nationalism. One practical alternative is using real-life veterans’ stories, rich in values of struggle, sacrifice, and patriotism. This study explores the use of veterans’ stories as learning resources in high school history classes to enhance historical awareness and strengthen students’ nationalism. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed in depth using Miles and Huberman’s triangulation model. The findings reveal that utilizing veterans’ stories can increase students’ learning interest, cultivate empathy for the nation’s struggles, and reinforce national values such as patriotism, unity, and self-sacrifice. Teachers are crucial in presenting veterans’ stories through storytelling approaches and creative learning media to ensure curricular relevance and engage students effectively. These findings affirm that integrating veterans’ stories into history learning is an effective strategy to build historical awareness and strengthen the national identity of younger generations.

The uneven quality of character education in Indonesia is not only caused by the limitations of the formal education system, but also by the low level of family involvement in the process of forming children's values and behavior. In today's digital era, technology should be able to bridge the role of families in children's character education. In this context, visual parenting education through digital graphic design has great potential as a visual literacy medium that can convey moral and social values in a simple, communicative, and inclusive manner. This study aims to: (1) Analyze the perspectives of designers and educators on the effectiveness of visual approaches in conveying character education messages to parents. (2) Identify educational graphic design strategies that are most relevant and easily accepted by families from various socio-economic backgrounds. (3) Evaluate the potential for collaboration between designers, teachers, and literacy communities in developing visual parenting media oriented towards strengthening children's character in the family environment. The research approach used was qualitative with a case study method on various educational visual media (posters, comics, infographics, and simple audiovisual content), as well as in-depth interviews with graphic designers, teachers, and family literacy activists. Data were analyzed to identify patterns, perceptions, and key strategies in implementing character-based parenting visual education. The research results are expected to produce a framework of effective, affordable, and contextual educational graphic design principles for character education in families, as well as provide collaborative recommendations for designers, educators, and communities in developing sustainable and socially impactful educational media.

The development of digital technology has had a significant impact on the behavior of early childhood. One of the most prominent impacts is the increasing dependence of children on gadgets as a source of entertainment. This study aims to analyze preventive efforts toward gadget dependence in early childhood through play activities depicted in the children’s storybook " what’s more exciting " written by Fajriatun Nurhidayati and Reni Armanita. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method using content analysis to examine the text and illustrations in the book. The findings show that the book contains character education values that function as preventive strategies against gadget dependence, such as time regulation and parental supervision of gadget use, creative play activities as an alternative to gadgets, and the strengthening of socio-emotional values through collaborative play. Through the main character Tiwi, the authors convey a moral message that playing outdoors with friends is more beneficial and enjoyable than playing gadgets alone. The play activities in this book serve as educational tools to develop children’s socio-emotional, artistic-creativity, and motor skills, as well as a reflection for teachers and parents in guiding the wise use of gadgets.

The study aims to analyze the process of strengthening self-awareness among juvenile offenders through psychology-based communication media and its implications for rehabilitation and social reintegration. This study investigates how identity is constructed, reproduced, and represented on the online gaming platform Roblox through a focused netnographic approach. Data were gathered over one month of participant netnographic fieldwork and via systematic analysis of digital artifacts, including avatars, user profiles, virtual marketplaces, and community events. Sustained immersion in players’ virtual experiences enabled collection of representative avatar configurations and interaction practices that shape identity work. Findings reveal four interrelated dynamics: (1) diversity, users experiment with multiple virtual identities; (2) representation, avatars encode values, aspirations, and socially meaningful positions; (3) fluidity, identity constructions shift over time, across game contexts, and within social ties; and (4) performativity, identity emerges through interactive practices and symbolic consumption. Crucially, the data show that virtual identities on Roblox can extend beyond and reproduce differently from offline personalities, yielding layered and at times divergent self-presentations in simulated spaces.

The era of Society 5.0 demands the integration of technology in physics learning to create an effective and student-centered learning process. Kinematics material requires a multi-representation approach, but there is no Pop-up Book-based educational application that combines real-motion animation and formative feedback assessment. This study aims to develop a Pop-up Book-based educational application on kinematics material with multiple-choice questions, informed by formative feedback, using the ADDIE development model (analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The results showed that the application had a validity level of 76.67% (valid category), effectiveness with an average N-Gain of 0.6 (medium-high category), and practicality with a student response score of 76.3 (positive category). This application is declared valid, effective, and practical for use as a physics learning medium for kinematics material.

Problem-solving skills are an important aspect of early childhood cognitive development, as they form the basis for children to think critically, creatively, and independently in facing everyday situations. This study aims to develop early childhood problem-solving skills through reading a storybook entitled "How to Do It" implemented in the home environment. The research method used a descriptive qualitative approach with five children aged 5–6 years as subjects. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation during reading activities and discussions. The results showed that regular storybook reading activities can improve children's abilities to identify problems, propose solution ideas, and evaluate appropriate actions. Children become more open in expressing opinions and show empathy towards the story characters. In addition, the "How to Do It" book helps children understand simple problem-solving steps such as recognizing situations, making choices, and trying alternative solutions. This study concludes that storybooks can be an effective medium in developing early childhood problem-solving skills at home, when accompanied by reflective dialogue activities. It is recommended that educators use thematic storybooks relevant to children's experiences to foster critical and creative thinking skills from an early age.

This research endeavours to identify, analyze, and describe the process of local historical memory pedagogy based on the LHM catastrophic eruption of Mount Merapi in 2010 at the university. It employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. While analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s model triangulation. The results illustrate the pedagogical process of local historical memory pedagogy based on the LHM catastrophic eruption of Mount Merapi in 2010 consists of four stages: (1) delivering material about Mount Merapi with its historical and volcanic cultural potential constructed through LHM. (2) Students explore LHM in the hamlets through guidance and direction from lecturers. (3) Students present the results of their LHM exploration through presentations in class or zoom meeting. (4) Students work on final projects such as eduvlog videos, infographics, and mini field research reports.

There is a significant gap in students’ abilities when they are assigned to write argumentative texts. The purpose of this study is to identify the students’ needs in learning materials for argumentative text writing, which are categorized into three aspects: needs analysis, curriculum analysis, and student character analysis. The scope of this study focuses on one variable from the five stages of the ADDIE model, namely the analysis of needs. This research employs a qualitative approach using a descriptive-analytical method. Data were collected through a literature review that included both primary sources (15 student subjects) and secondary references. After the data were gathered, the final step was to analyze the data through data reduction, interpretation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that most students are capable of expressing relevant and current ideas. However, these ideas tend to remain general and do not yet demonstrate a strong argumentative stance. Students show a noticeable gap between curriculum expectations and their actual performance. Furthermore, most students write based on personal opinions without including data, references, or supporting evidence. In addition, students tend to prefer learning that is interactive, contextual, and allows them to freely express their opinions.

The research method used is qualitative, presenting the results of in-depth interviews with Azerbaijani academics about the challenges and opportunities of implementing spiritual education for Azerbaijani adolescents in Azerbaijan, as well as direct observations in various formal and non-formal environments. The results of this study show the importance of implementing spiritual education for Azerbaijani youth, with more than 90% of academics agreeing. Therefore, these results are expected to serve as a reference for education stakeholders to develop opportunities and challenges that can contribute to the progress, economic development, and national security stability involving Azerbaijani adolescents.

This quasi-experimental research, conducted at SMP Negeri 7 Ternate City, aimed to determine the effect of animated video media on student learning outcomes. The study involved a sample of 60 students, assigned to either a control or experimental group. Results showed that the experimental group, which used animated videos, achieved a higher average score increase of 18.61% (from 65 to 77.1) compared to the 16.52% increase in the control group. A t-test analysis confirmed that this difference was statistically significant. The study concludes that animated video media is more effective than conventional methods in improving student learning outcomes.

This systematic literature review examines how nudge-based policymaking in the digital era both sustains and disrupts durable inequality. Drawing on 57 peer-reviewed studies (2010–2025), it integrates insights from Durable Inequality Theory, Nudge Theory, and Digital Governance. The findings show that inequality is now embedded in data infrastructures and algorithmic systems that classify and rank citizens, creating ordinal citizenship. Four mechanisms of durability emerge: institutional path dependence, moral legitimation, cognitive entrenchment, and algorithmic feedback loops. Yet, digital architectures also enable disruption through ethical and reflexive design, via algorithmic transparency, participatory governance, redistributive frameworks, and intergenerational justice. The study proposes Digital Behavioural Institutionalism, viewing inequality as co-produced by behavioural governance, institutional structures, and data infrastructures. Policy implications call for algorithmic audits, citizen co-design, data justice, and reciprocity-based nudging to ensure that digital governance promotes inclusion and transforms the ethical and technological foundations of social life.

Language is inseparable from its speakers, including its use in the naming of objects. The act of naming objects follows a particular system. This system is specifically discussed within a branch of sociolinguistics known as onomastics. Onomastics is the study of names, including personal names, objects, places, and regions (Suhartatik, 2023). The object of this research is the names of gamelan ensembles in the Yogyakarta Palace. The reason for this is that the gamelan in the Yogyakarta Palace are given distinctive names, similar to human names, thus becoming a hallmark of the palace tradition. Moreover, some gamelan in the Yogyakarta Palace are also bestowed with honorary titles such as kiai. This unique naming system is a highly interesting subject of study. Specifically, this research discusses onomastics as classified by Suhartatik (2023). The objectives of this research are: (1) to identify the linguistic units used in the names of gamelan in the Yogyakarta Palace; (2) to examine the meanings and prayers embodied in the naming of gamelan; and (3) to identify the social factors influencing the naming of gamelan in the Yogyakarta Palace. Data collection is divided into two sources: (1) primary data, obtained through interviews with a court servant (abdi dalem) of the Yogyakarta Palace, and (2) secondary data, obtained from relevant literature. The data were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive method, following the three stages of Miles and Huberman (1992): (1) data reduction, to classify the linguistic forms of gamelan names in the Yogyakarta Palace; (2) data display, by analyzing the processes of formation and meanings of the names; and (3) conclusion drawing, to reveal the sociocultural reflections embedded in the naming of gamelan. The results of this study show that the linguistic units used in the names of gamelan in the Yogyakarta Palace are diverse. The distinctive naming system demonstrates that gamelan are treated in a manner similar to humans, as reflected in the use of proper names and even honorary titles such as kiai.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of natural material collage activities as an innovative strategy to improve fine motor skills and creativity in early childhood. The research employed a qualitative approach with a classroom action research (CAR) design, following the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consists of four stages: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The study was conducted in two cycles at TK MNU Diponegoro 111 Ajibarang, Banyumas Regency, involving 15 children in Group B (8 boys and 7 girls) during the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and teacher reflection. The results showed a significant improvement in children’s fine motor abilities and creative expression after the implementation of collage activities using natural materials such as dried leaves, seeds, and eggshells. The average fine motor skill level increased from 47% in the initial observation, to 62% in Cycle I, and 85% in Cycle II, indicating a 38% overall improvement. Children became more skillful in controlling hand and finger movements, more attentive, and increasingly independent in creating their artworks. The findings demonstrate that natural material collage activities not only strengthen fine motor coordination but also foster creativity, concentration, environmental awareness, and self-confidence. Therefore, this learning strategy can be considered an effective, engaging, and environmentally friendly approach to enhancing the quality of early childhood education.

This study examines how collectors in the uncertain contemporary art market convert aesthetic experiences into valuation beliefs. Using a phenomenological qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, auction catalogs, gallery documentation, and exhibition archives; analyzed using inductive-deductive thematic analysis and triangulation. Findings indicate: (1) institutional legitimacy—gallery reputation, museum recognition, and curatorial awards are the strongest signals mediating value perceptions and price reasonableness thresholds; (2) market mechanisms—price coherence with auction catalogs, lot placement, and third-party guarantees reduce risk and discipline enthusiasm; (3) curation—narrative and contextual presentation translates fascination into symbolic appraisal and facilitates the resolution of dissonance. Owned works function as boundary objects that expand networks. The study proposes an integrative Legitimacy–Market–Curation pathway, enriching theories of cultural capital, signaling, market devices, and price setting practices.

This study aims to analyze the main themes of global scientific research on digital literacy and disability through bibliometric analysis and examine global publication trends from the perspective of influential organizations and countries. Data were drawn from 145 documents in the Scopus database and processed using VOSviewer. The analysis revealed four main themes: First, digital inclusion in health, education, and participation is hindered by literacy gaps and inaccessible device design. Second, emerging digital technologies (e-learning, IoT, and the Metaverse) create opportunities for accessibility and inclusion but raise ethical challenges. Third, the COVID-19 pandemic accelerated digitalization yet exposed persistent barriers of exclusion and access, emphasizing the need for inclusive, socio-emotional, and technical solutions for vulnerable groups. Fourth, digital skills development underscores user-centered design and motivational strategies to address low literacy challenges. Additional findings show that Universitat D’Alacant (Spain) and the United States are the most influential contributors.

The development of the film industry in the digital era serves not only as a means of entertainment but also as an ideological medium that plays a role in shaping society's views on gender construction. This includes issues of homonormativity due to the absence of a father figure, social pressure, and experiences of bullying. This phenomenon is relevant to Hirokazu Kore-eda's film Monster (2023). The film depicts how identity confusion, loneliness, and inner conflict in children arise due to societal stigma and stereotypes. This study aims to analyze the representation of children's gender identity in Monster (2023) through John Fiske's semiotic approach, which encompasses three levels of analysis: reality, representation, and ideology. In the Islamic context, the freedom of identity as depicted in the film needs to be directed toward a balance between self-expression and the preservation of human nature. Islam emphasizes that true identity is formed through self-awareness based on the values of monotheism, morality, and social responsibility, not solely through unlimited freedom.

This qualitative study aims to explore how simple science game activities can function as a stimulus for the cognitive development of early childhood at Pertiwi 1 Dukuhwaluh Kindergarten (Kembaran District, Banyumas Regency). Using a case study approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with teachers and children, participant observation in game activities, and video and photo documentation of activities during six weeks of intervention. The results of the thematic analysis show three main categories, namely: (1) active exploration and curiosity as triggers for cognitive stimulation, (2) teacher-child and peer interactions as mediators of simple scientific learning, and (3) local context and simple materials as reinforcement of the relevance of activities. This study recommends that simple science games are worthy of being integrated into the PAUD curriculum as part of a play-based and exploration-based cognitive stimulation strategy.

This study aims to examine the effect of using educational TikTok videos on Arabic speaking confidence among students of the Arabic Language Education Study Program at STIQ Amuntai. A quantitative approach was used with a simple linear regression method on 50 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The independent variable, the use of educational TikTok videos, was measured through indicators of intensity, engagement, and content quality. Meanwhile, the dependent variable, speaking confidence, was measured through indicators of self-confidence, articulation, expression, vocabulary, and nervous control. The results showed a t-value of 1.533 with a significance of 0.132 > 0.05, which means there is no significant effect between the use of educational TikTok videos on Arabic speaking confidence. This finding indicates that passive consumption of digital educational content is not enough to build confidence without direct practice, feedback, and a directed pedagogical structure. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating social media in active experiential learning.

Educational disparities in peripheral regions such as Banjar City, West Java, continue to pose significant challenges, particularly in student literacy and numeracy, early childhood education (PAUD) accreditation, school participation among adolescents, and inclusion for children with disabilities. This study aims to examine the multidimensional factors influencing these issues using a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing secondary data from the national education report, and complementing it with field observations and interviews with stakeholders. The study results indicate that less than 40% of junior high school students achieve minimum literacy competencies, primarily due to unqualified teachers, inadequate student-teacher ratios, and contemporary teaching practices at the elementary level. Only 34% of early childhood education institutions meet the minimum accreditation standard of class B,caused by inadequate infrastructure, low teacher qualifications, and limited technical assistance. Adolescents aged 16–18 years have a relatively low school participation rate, influenced by factors such as economic hardship, social issues such as family instability, and declining motivation. Children with disabilities experience limited access to education due to the uneven distribution of special education schools, lack of transportation, and prevailing social stigma. The study concluded that improving educational outcomes in Banjar City requires systemic interventions, including enhanced teacher training, support for the accreditation process, targeted economic and social policies, and inclusive education strategies tailored to marginalized groups.

This study aims to reveal how the representation of the presence of fathers in the children's story book Pulang by Sketsa Ultra Pelangi forms a picture of child happiness. The method used is descriptive qualitative with content analysis techniques against text and illustrations on pages 1–24 of the book. The analysis focused on three forms of father's presence, namely physical, emotional, and educational presence. The results of the study show that the father in Pulang is described as an active, warm, and supportive figure. His physical presence is a source of security for the child, his emotional presence creates a healthy attachment according to Bowlby's attachment theory, while his educational presence reflects the role of the activation relationship as described by Paquette, where the father provides space for the child to explore the world with a happy curiosity. Through a combination of narrative and soft illustration colors, Pulang presents a representation of a father who is not only a protector, but also a companion to the child's growth and development. These findings confirm that children's literature has the potential to be an important medium in strengthening awareness of the emotional role of fathers in shaping early childhood happiness.

Explaining The Poverty Depth In Banjar City: A Multidimensional And Expenditure-Based Analysis

The Banjar City Government has taken various steps to alleviate poverty. Between 2020 and 2024, the poverty rate in Banjar City decreased by around 0.3% annually, indicating that poverty alleviation in Banjar City has been effective. However, this poverty reduction was not followed by an improvement in the consumption power of the poor population as represented by the Poverty Depth Index (IKK P1). To investigate this condition, a multidimensional study was conducted with a quantitative approach with secondary data analyzed through multiple linear regression. This study aims to identify the main drivers of poverty alleviation and factors contributing to low expenditure among poor households in Banjar City. The results indicate that school enrollment rates are the main factor influencing poverty reduction, with a significance level of 0.980. Meanwhile, the factor influencing the low expenditure of the poor population in Banjar City is inflation with a significance level of 0.620.

The use of storybooks in early childhood education has an important role in shaping moral understanding and strengthening character values. This study analyzes Andrea Sharon's Merah children's storybook, published by the Language Development and Development Agency in 2022, to explore how literary narratives can foster positive character in early childhood. The method used is qualitative descriptive with a literature review approach to examine the intrinsic elements, moral messages, and educational values contained in the story. The results of the study show that the Merah book contains four aspects of character formation, namely courage to face challenges, confidence in expressing abilities, creativity in facing limitations, and empathy for differences. The character of Cantika, a child who mistakenly carries crayons during the coloring competition, but still tries and doesn't give up, shows that character growth can emerge through self-acceptance and perseverance. The conclusion of this study is that storybooks such as Merah not only serve as a literacy development suggestion, but also an effective medium in integrating character education into early childhood learning. The results of this study confirm the importance of the role of teachers and parents in using children's storybooks as suggestions to strengthen moral and social values from an early age.

The purpose of this study is to examine how Wattpad practices capitalism through romance stories in the production, distribution, and consumption of popular literature. The theory used in this study is Mosco's political economy of media theory, which is about reciprocal social relations that include the production, distribution, and consumption of a product. The results of this study are the discovery of political economic ideologies in the production, distribution, and consumption of popular romance genre literature on the Wattpad application. First, in the process of commodification of romance novel content that is in great demand by readers and users of the Wattpad application, because the stories closely reflect the lives of teenagers today. Second, in the process of audience commodification, the number of readers of romance novels greatly influences the rating that will later be used as a reference for advertisers in placing their ads on the Wattpad application. Third, in the process of spatialization, it can be observed that Wattpad offers features to facilitate its users' writing, reading, rating, and interaction. Finally, the discovery of the process of political economic structuration between readers, writers, and Wattpad that occurs through the production, distribution, and consumption of romance novels. This is because readers highly seek after romance novels, so authors tend to publish in the same genre to attract more readers. Wattpad, of course, benefits from the romance genre's success in dominating the market. Furthermore, it's known that political and economic ideologies significantly influence readers' tastes in Indonesia and the authors' production processes.

Indonesia faces complex socio-economic challenges, where high volumes of domestic waste coincide with the persistent economic marginalization of Homemakers in urban areas, who are often excluded from formal income sources. The lack of equitable access to formal recycling chains and the unrecognized economic value of domestic sorting contribute to this obstacle. This study aims to analyze how the dual intervention of TRASHCASH, a platform integrating AI-Based Image Recognition and a Digital Marketplace, functions as a mechanism for social conversion transforming household waste into a stable source of cash-flow, while simultaneously enhancing the social status and economic inclusion of Homemakers in dense urban settings. Employing a qualitative approach using a case study method, data was collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and narrative analysis of Homemaker participants using TRASHCASH. The findings emphatically show that the Digital Marketplace plays a crucial role in providing price transparency and transaction certainty, which directly reduces the economic vulnerability of these Homemakers. Furthermore, the role of AI in standardizing sorting cultivates self-confidence and social recognition for the Homemakers’ competence, proving that previously invisible domestic work is now converted into recognized economic activity. It is concluded that this social-tech model has significant potential to address structural inequality and act as a catalyst for economic justice and gender empowerment within the context of sustainable development.

This study explores the dynamics of integrating environmental ecology into language learning through an empirical bibliometric analysis of 396 Scopus articles. Focusing on global trends, the findings show a significant increase in publications since the SDGs, with the United States (86 documents) and China (52 documents) dominating, while Indonesia (31 documents) emerges as a strategic link between Southeast Asia and Western perspectives through international collaboration. Key terms such as "environmental education" and "sustainable development" form interrelated thematic clusters, revealing an evolution from disciplinary separation toward holistic education based on local wisdom. Indonesia contributed 31 Scopus publications with a unique approach integrating local wisdom into ecological language learning. Enhancing Chemistry Education In The Digital Era: The Role Of Self-Efficacy In Addressing Students’ Misconceptions On Acid–Base Concept

This study examines the relationship between self-efficacy and misconceptions in acid–base chemistry among seventh-grade students (n=121) in digital learning contexts. A correlational mixed- methods design used validated self-efficacy questionnaires (α=0.89) and four-tier diagnostic tests (reliability=0.87). Results showed that although 45% of students reported high self-efficacy, misconceptions remained substantial (32.8%), especially in identifying acid-base solutions (42.36%), indicator behavior (53.72%), and pH interpretation (46.28%). A moderate positive correlation emerged between self-efficacy and misconceptions (r=0.52, p<0.01), strongest among middle achievers (r=0.61). Notably, 42.1% of high-self-efficacy students held multiple misconceptions, indicating a confidence– misconception paradox associated with passive digital content use. Interview data revealed that highly confident students often relied on superficial online explanations, while lower-confidence students showed greater metacognitive awareness. Self-efficacy dimensions explained 31.4% of misconception variance (R²=0.314, p<0.001). Findings suggest that self-efficacy in digital learning requires calibration, supported by targeted misconception-based instruction, refutational approaches, digital literacy, and metacognitive scaffolding.

The transition period preceding the release of Juvenile Offenders (ABH) from the Juvenile Detention Facility (LPKA) represents a critical juncture for strengthening resilience and enhancing social readiness. Nevertheless, the absence of sustained post-release support remains a significant factor contributing to recidivism. Addressing this gap, the present study underscores the necessity of designing a digital psychosocial communication module that functions as a sustainable medium for resilience-building and social reintegration. This research aims to identify the specific needs of Juvenile Offenders systematically and to assess the strategic importance of developing a digital module tailored to their psychosocial and communicative requirements during the reintegration process. Employing a descriptive qualitative design, data were collected through Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and in-depth interviews. The participants consisted of 15 CICLs scheduled for release within three months, five correctional officers, and five family members. Data analysis was conducted using thematic analysis to derive key patterns and insights. The findings reveal three principal domains of need: (1) access to a safe and confidential platform for sharing experiences and articulating concerns, (2) availability of practical and reusable learning resources, such as curriculum vitae preparation and coping strategies for stigma, and (3) establishment of a sustainable support system that connects CICL with mentors and successful alumni before their reintegration into society. The study concludes that a user-centered digital module is both vital and strategic for reinforcing resilience and ensuring continuity of support. Integrating such a module within the final rehabilitation stage of LPKA programs offers significant potential to minimize reintegration failure and reduce the risk of recidivism.

Cancel culture has emerged as a prominent feature of social media communication, often framed as a form of digital accountability. Yet in practice, it frequently reproduces real life existing gender inequalities. This paper examines how naming and shaming practices on Indonesian Twitter reinforce patriarchal norms by disproportionately targeting women in viral infidelity scandals. By applying Feminist Post-Structuralist Discourse Analysis (FPDA), the study shows how derogatory labels such as pelakor (homewrecker) operate as communicative tools of public punishment that reduce women to symbols of immorality and family destruction. By contrast, the men involved were largely invisible or treated with leniency, and it illustrates the persistence of double standards in digital communication. The paper draws on qualitative analysis of Twitter discourse, examining patterns of insulting language and their cultural meanings. This paper shows that cancel culture works as digital patriarchy in action, where naming and shaming are a form of symbolic violence.

This study highlights the difficulties of international students in understanding the language style and connotative meaning of Indonesian songs, especially those related to cultural context. Songs are considered effective as learning media because they combine language, culture, and emotion, making them suitable for advanced Indonesian for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) learning. The study aims to identify the language style in Nadin Amizah's album Selamat Ulang Tahun and explain its relevance for advanced BIPA learning. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data in the form of song lyrics, collected through a listening-noting technique. Data validity is strengthened by researcher triangulation, while analysis is carried out using an interactive model. The results of the study indicate the presence of paradox, simile, repetition, metaphor, antithesis, and personification that can be used to train advanced BIPA listening skills. In conclusion, Nadin Amizah's songs are suitable as BIPA learning media because they help learners understand Indonesian from an aesthetic, emotional, and cultural perspective in a creative and enjoyable way.

The results of this study show the dominance of expressive and directive speech, which is used to express feelings (such as pride, pity, and aggression) and calls to express actions (such as highlighting products related to Israel). Family conflict often reflects the complexity of human personality, as depicted in literary works. Usmar Ismail's play "My Father Returns" depicts the inner struggles of its characters in dealing with responsibilities and emotional relationships between family members. This study aims to describe the personality structures of the characters in the play through a literary psychology approach, utilizing Carl Gustav Jung's theory, and to analyze their relevance to Indonesian language learning in eleventh grade. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, using observation, note-taking, and interviews with teachers and students. The results indicate that the father represents the persona and shadow, the mother represents the self and animus, while the children depict ego conflict and emotional tension. These findings are relevant for strengthening literary literacy, character development, and students' critical thinking skills through the characters and moral values in the drama text. This research provides an academic contribution in developing Indonesian literary studies with psychological and educational dimensions to increase empathy and moral awareness of high school students.

Community-based tourism is promoted to support sustainable and inclusive development, with Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) serving as key community institutions in Indonesia. This study analyzes the role of Pokdarwis in empowering local communities in the development of the Kubah Basirih Religious Tourism Destination in Banjarmasin City, South Kalimantan. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis involving community members, Pokdarwis, government officials, and visitors. The analysis focuses on four empowerment dimensions: community awareness, individual capacity, institutional capacity, and networking. The findings show that Pokdarwis effectively enhances community awareness and participation, particularly during religious events, and improves individual skills through training and creative economic activities. However, institutional capacity remains weak due to informal governance and limited participatory planning, while networking capacity is moderately effective through multi-stakeholder collaboration. Overall, community empowerment is moderately effective but requires strengthened participatory governance and sustainable capacity-building to support long-term religious tourism development

Reconstructing History Learning Through the 1968 South Blitar Event: Integrating Silenced Narratives into High School Classrooms

The exclusion of local historical events from formal curricula has fragmented students’ understanding of the past. One such event, the 1968 South Blitar incident closely linked to the 1965 political turmoil remains absent from classroom discourse despite its regional significance. This study aims to reconstruct high school history learning by identifying pedagogical needs for integrating this local event into instructional materials. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected from six history teachers through interviews and 118 students through questionnaires, complemented by classroom observations and document analysis in public high schools across Blitar Regency. Findings reveal a substantial gap between the national curriculum and students’ lived historical context. Teachers and students expressed the need for materials that reflect local experiences, encourage critical engagement, and include marginalized narratives. Incorporating the 1968 South Blitar event into digital history resources can enhance historical literacy and democratize historical knowledge among high school learners.

Adaptation efforts become a concern when viewing the independent curriculum from the perspective of adapting it to the change framework, ensuring it remains relevant when implemented. The purpose of this study is to collect information and analyze the change framework of the independent curriculum in the transformation of learning in Madrasah Aliyah. This paper uses a qualitative research method with a literature study approach. Data sources for the analysis include Michael Fullan’s theoretical book on the Characteristics of Change, scientific articles related to the independent curriculum. The results of this study describe and analyze four aspects: 1) The need to see the importance of making curriculum changes; 2) Clarity by clarifying the concept standards and curriculum implementation; 3) Complexity in the form of internal and external indicators of Madrasah Aliyah that influence learning transformation; and 4) Quality/Practicality that makes the independent curriculum still exist today. The conclusion shows that the principle of change has a positive and significant influence on the development of quality learning in Madrasah Aliyah.

As the oldest Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia, Islamic boarding schools (Pesantren) have historically held moral authority in shaping the character and spirituality of their communities. However, in the context of modernization and information transparency, this authority is experiencing a legitimacy crisis due to the emergence of value deviations and the protection of power by some pesantren leaders. This situation raises questions about the relevance of the traditional pesantren authority model amidst demands for transparency and public accountability. This research employed a qualitative approach with descriptive-analytical and socio-cultural phenomenological methods. Data were collected through literature review, digital content analysis, and in-depth interviews with students, alumni, and pesantren leaders. The results indicate that cultural feudalism, which once underpinned the structure of respect for kiai (Islamic scholars), is now being discussed for its relevance in a modern context that demands transparency and equality. Digitalization has also reframed public perceptions of pesantren, making the reconstruction of moral authority urgent due to the poor role of pesantren in modern society. This situation makes the reconstruction of moral authority a pressing need to address the aspirations of pesantren in modern society.

This study aims to analyze semantic concepts in the development of Indonesian literacy competencies of elementary school students. This research is motivated by the low ability of students to understand the meaning of texts and apply semantic concepts in language activities. The research uses the systematic literature review (SLR) method by searching Sinta and Google Scholar indexed articles for the period 2015–2025 that are relevant to semantics and literacy topics in elementary schools. The results of the analysis show that semantics plays an important role in the formation of text meaning, vocabulary mastery, and the ability to compose sentences effectively. Semantic learning models such as concept maps, contextual meaning analysis, and contextual word games have been proven to be effective in improving students' critical thinking skills and understanding of meaning. These findings are in line with the principles of the independent curriculum which emphasizes meaning- and text-based learning. This study concludes that semantic reinforcement needs to be supported by the active role of teachers, adaptive curriculum, and contextual learning media to build meaningful literacy in elementary school students.

This study aims to analyse the phonemic errors produced by elementary school students in creating educational audio content using a generative phonology framework and to examine their implications for language learning strategies in the digital literacy era. The research employs a qualitative approach with a literature review method. Data were gathered from various national and international scientific publications related to phonology, phonemic errors, and technology-based learning. The findings indicate that the most frequent phonemic errors include substitution, elision, and epenthesis, influenced by mother tongue interference, low phonological awareness, and the limited availability of digital pronunciation training media. In the context of elementary education, these findings underline the need for technology-based pedagogical innovations such as phoneme analysis applications, audio peer review, and the integration of phonological exercises in digital literacy tasks. Thus, generative phonology learning in the digital era must not only emphasise theoretical understanding of sound patterns, but also the students’ ability to reflect on, analyse, and correct their own pronunciation through interactive and adaptive digital media.

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of integrating a differentiated learning approach with the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in enhancing student learning outcomes in Social Studies (IPS) in the 21st century. The background of this research highlights the importance of learning strategies that can address the diversity of students' learning styles and foster critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity skills. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with ninth-grade students of State Junior High School 29 Bandung as the subjects. Students' learning styles were mapped using the VARK instrument, covering visual, auditory, and kinesthetic types, which served as the basis for designing differentiated project-based activities. The results indicate improvements in students' cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. Teachers acted as facilitators, adapting their guidance strategies to students' needs and readiness. Digital-based assessments enabled instant feedback, strengthening learning reflection. The integration of PjBL and differentiated learning resulted in an inclusive, adaptive, and relevant learning process aligned with contemporary educational demands. The Angso Duo legend plays an important role for the people of Jambi in relation to the history of the formation of the city of Jambi as a symbol of its history. However, this legend has begun to be forgotten in the modern era. The creation of this work aims to revive the cultural values of the Angso Duo legend through the creation of artwear clothing rooted in the legend of the city of Jambi. The design approach chosen is reinterpretation, utilizing narrative as a source of ideas and traditional idioms. The result is women's artwear that represents social values, harmony, divinity, and equality through appliqué sewing techniques using ramie fiber. This work was realized using the SP Gustami method, which consists of several stages: exploration, design, and realization. The final result is three pieces of women's artwear that visualize local wisdom values and the symbolic meaning of the Angso Duo legend in a contemporary look. This work is expected to foster public appreciation of culture while contributing to the local creative industry.

The transitional phase from university to professional life represents a critical period in shaping students’ psychological well-being and capacity for flourishing. This study explores the lived experiences of well-being and individual flourishing among final-level university students by employing a phenomenological qualitative design. The research aims to capture how students interpret, construct, and sustain psychological resilience during academic completion. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with purposively selected participants and analyzed thematically following Braun and Clarke’s model. Findings reveal that flourishing emerges from three interrelated domains: intrinsic motivation and purpose alignment, adaptive coping with academic and life stressors, and meaningful social connection. Moreover, psychological flourishing is not static but evolves as students navigate uncertainty and self-actualization in their final academic journey. The study concludes that institutional support systems fostering autonomy, emotional regulation, and reflective engagement are essential to sustaining student well-being. Theoretically, this research contributes to expanding the discourse of positive psychology within higher education, while practically, it provides a framework for developing holistic student support strategies that integrate academic, emotional, and social dimensions of flourishing.

One indicator of the professional competence of a Playgroup (KB) teacher is the ability to develop learning that is fun, meaningful, and appropriate to the child's developmental stage. According to the Ministry of National Education (2004), teacher professional development includes innovative activities in learning, including the use of relevant methods and media. One effective method for improving early childhood literacy skills is the read-aloud technique, which not only helps in children's language development but also strengthens emotional bonds and fosters a love of reading from an early age. However, in reality, many KB Rumah Kreatif Wadas Kelir teachers still lack the ability and confidence to read stories expressively and communicatively. Some of the obstacles faced by teachers include: not understanding basic read-aloud techniques, not being accustomed to using vocal expressions and gestures that attract children's attention, and not having access to or skills in using local culture-based teaching materials. In addition, the use of storybooks that are not contextualized to children's culture also hinders optimal student understanding and engagement. To address these challenges, we organized a Community Partnership Program (PKM) activity with the theme “Implementation of Read Aloud for Teachers Through Bilingual Banyumas Storybooks at Wadas Kelir PAUD.” This implementation is designed to improve teachers’ skills in reading stories well and introduce bilingual storybooks (Indonesian – Banyumasan) as a local culture-based learning medium. With this implementation, it is hoped that teachers can carry out read aloud activities that are more interesting, educational, and have a local nuance so that they have a positive impact on the development of early childhood language skills. The planned outputs of this community service activity are (1) increasing the competence of Wadas Kelir Creative Home Kindergarten teachers in read aloud skills and the use of local story media; (2) the compilation of scientific articles published in accredited national journals as a form of documentation and dissemination of activity results.

This study investigates the determinants affecting the efficacy and longevity of crowdfunding systems in Indonesia by integrating the Information System Success Model (ISSM) with the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The swift expansion of crowdfunding platforms in Indonesia shows their potential for social and philanthropic fundraising; however, their sustainability presents a significant problem. This study seeks to establish a conceptual framework linking system quality, information quality, and service quality (ISSM dimensions) with publication, user satisfaction, and behavioral intention (TAM dimensions) to clarify platform sustainability. A quantitative methodology is utilized, employing survey instruments assessed on a five-point Likert scale. The findings theoretically illustrate the complementary nature of ISSM and TAM in evaluating the factors influencing user satisfaction and the desire for continuing usage, hence promoting the long-term sustainability of crowdfunding systems.

Developmentally Approriate Practice (DAP) As A Child Development-Oriented Learning Strategy

Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) is a framework for early childhood learning strategies that is oriented towards the child's development, based on three key dimensions: age appropriateness, individual appropriateness, and culture appropriateness. Early Childhood Education (AUD) must align with the child's developmental stages and be facilitated through play, which serves as a crucial vehicle for the child's physical, social, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual growth. This paper aims to analyze the implementation of DAP in AUD institutions, identify influencing factors and challenges encountered, propose solutions, and examine its impact on the developmental progress of young children. The findings conclude that DAP acts as a fundamental guide for teaching activities that are responsive to the child's learning stage and style. DAP-based learning holistically fosters children who are more active, creative, and capable of better problem-solving. Conversely, conventional approaches that overly focus on learning targets often neglect individual needs and may hinder optimal development. It is suggested that PAUD teachers consistently implement DAP through play to enhance the child's engagement and learning comprehension.

The Impact of Digitalization on Public Service Quality in Indonesia: A Systematic Literature Review

Digitalization has become a key driver of bureaucratic transformation in Indonesia, aiming to improve the quality of public services through greater efficiency, transparency, and responsiveness. The government has launched various e-government initiatives to enhance public service delivery, but the actual impact of these digital reforms on service quality remains mixed and debated. This study aims to systematically review the impact of digitalization on public service quality in Indonesia by synthesizing relevant scientific evidence. This research uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method following the PRISMA guidelines, including the stages of identification, screening, eligibility, and synthesis. Data was collected exclusively from the Scopus database, focusing on peer-reviewed articles published between 2015 and 2025 containing the keywords "digital public services," "e-government," "service quality," and "Indonesia." The findings reveal that digitalization has a positive impact on key dimensions of service quality, particularly efficiency, transparency, and accessibility. However, persistent challenges such as low digital literacy among civil servants and citizens, limited system integration, and uneven infrastructure development continue to hamper the achievement of optimal results. Overall, this review highlights the research trend shifting from technical efficiency to more user-centric and value-based public service models. This study contributes to theoretical and policy discussions on strengthening Indonesia's digital transformation agenda to ensure inclusive and sustainable public service delivery.

This study explores the reflection of early childhood social values in Maurice Sendak’s picture book Where the Wild Things Are. The story, though simple in structure, encapsulates complex psychological and moral dimensions that mirror the developmental experiences of children. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, analyzing the text and illustrations through the lens of child development theories and moral education. The findings reveal that the story conveys three essential social values: emotional self regulation, empathy, and moral responsibility. Through the character of Max, Sendak portrays a symbolic journey of emotional growth from anger and rebellion to understanding and reconciliation. The imaginative world of the Wild Things becomes a medium through which the child processes inner conflicts and learns that love and belonging are more meaningful than power or independence. The story also reflects the significance of family affection and forgiveness as the foundation for emotional stability and moral awareness. In conclusion, Where the Wild Things Are serves not only as a literary masterpiece but also as a valuable educational resource for nurturing empathy, emotional intelligence, and social values in early childhood.

A Study Of The Wijaya Kusuma Keraton Motif In Cilacap Batik

The Wijaya Kusuma Keraton is an endemic plant that grows on Majeti Island, located near Nusakambangan Island, along the southern coast of Cilacap Regency. The island is managed by the local Natural Resources Conservation Agency (BKSDA). The term “Keraton” (Royal Palace) is closely linked to a ritualistic flower-picking ceremony that once took place on this island, which served as a requirement for the coronation of Javanese kings centuries ago. The myth of Wijaya Kusuma symbolizes glory, fortune, and the granting of royal divine authority (wahyu keprabon)—representing power and sovereignty in all aspects of life. However, there are two different types of Wijaya Kusuma that have sparked debate among the public. The more popular variety is the decorative bokowali type (Epiphyllum oxypetalum var silvestris Sp.), widely cultivated by the general public. Meanwhile, the Wijaya Kusuma Keraton (Pisonia grandis var silvestris Sp.), has largely been forgotten, as it is difficult to propagate, let alone to flower. These are clearly two distinct plant species, both in terms of taxonomy and appearance. As a result, many local residents, including the local gonvironment more readily recognize the bokowali type—as seen in monuments, logos, symbols, and even local batik motifs—primarily due to its popularity. Based on observations of dozens of local batik artisans, only one artisan dares to use the name Wijaya Kusuma Keraton for their batik motif. Even so, the design still carried away by the Wijaya Kusuma Bokowali flow because of the persuit ot the market share. Located closest to Majeti Island and driven by concern, this research aims to study and promote alternative batik motifs inspired by the Wijaya Kusuma Keraton, with stylizations that remain true to the original plant. This is supported by market segmentation analysis and an evaluation of its economic value. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a cultural anthropology perspective. Data were obtained through field observations, interviews with relevant sources, and supporting valid documentation. This study reflects a concern for environmental preservation and straightening out visual motifs that are full of traditional values, aesthetic, philosophical, and symbolic values. It is hoped that through this effort, the Wijaya Kusuma Keraton can gain greater recognition and its existence can be sustainably preserved.

Systematic Review Of The Solfeggio Method For Non-Music Students In Vocational Secondary Education

The solfeggio method is an important approach in formal music education for training aural skills, sight-singing, and music theory. However, its application in non-music Vocational High Schools (SMK) is still limited. This research aims to identify solfeggio learning innovations that can be adapted for non-music students in vocational high schools (SMK), as well as evaluate effective strategies and existing research gaps. The study was conducted using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach on 20 scientific articles published from 2020 to 2025, employing the PRISMA framework and thematic analysis. The results show that innovations such as the use of technology (MIDI, deep learning), a vocal-centric approach, and the integration of local culture are effectively applied to students without a musical background. Multimodal strategies combining vocal, movement, and visualization also enhance musical learning outcomes. However, there are still limitations in developing solfeggio learning models for non-music vocational school contexts in Indonesia. This study recommends the development of a contextual and applicative solfeggio learning model considering student characteristics and resource limitations.

Implementation Of Early Childhood Religious Character Values Through Daily Habituation Activities At RA Bani Malik Purwokerto

Religious character education in early childhood is an important foundation in shaping positive attitudes, behaviours and habits in children from an early age, through consistent habit-forming activities. This study aims to describe the implementation of religious character values in early childhood through daily habit forming activities at RA Banı Malik Purwokokerto. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis used in this study was data reduction, data presentation and conclusions, with data validity testing using source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of religious character values at RA Banı Malik is carried out through various activities such as praying before studying, memorising short surahs, reading Asmaul Husna with movements, memorising daily prayers, hadith with movements, reciting the Qur'an using the tilawatı method, practising the dhuha prayer, and giving alms.

Teacher professionalism plays a central role in ensuring that education values are internalized effectively through meaningful learning experiences. This study aims to analyze the implementation of a benchmarking strategy to enhance teacher professionalism at SRAMBI PAUD CENTER, Indonesia. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach using a best practice and institutional benchmarking model. Data were obtained through self-assessment documents, institutional records, reflective evaluations, and observations of educational practices. The results indicate that benchmarking strategies implemented through internal benchmarking, competitive benchmarking, and systematic feedback and evaluation significantly improve teachers’ professional competence, pedagogical strategies, and commitment to character-based education. Furthermore, the strategy strengthens institutional quality, public trust, and community engagement. This study contributes practical insights into sustainable quality improvement strategies for early childhood education institutions.

This study examines the management of the Healthy Eating Movement (Gerakan Makan Sehat/GEMAS) program implemented at PAUD Abaca Laren Bumiayu as a school-based initiative for stunting prevention in early childhood education. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis involving school principals and teachers. The findings reveal that the GEMAS program is managed through systematic planning, clear task distribution, routine implementation, and continuous monitoring and evaluation. The program integrates balanced nutrition principles into daily school activities and actively involves parents to reinforce healthy eating habits at home. Despite challenges related to parental consistency and sustainability, effective program management contributes significantly to fostering healthy eating behaviors in early childhood. This study highlights the importance of structured school program management as part of holistic-integrative efforts to prevent stunting in early childhood education settings.

Implementation Of Inclusive Early Childhood Education In A Community-Based Pos Paud Jati Waluyo Preliminary Qualitative Study In Rural Banyumas, Indonesia

Inclusive Early Childhood Education (ECE) is a fundamental approach to ensuring equitable learning opportunities for all children, including children with special needs (CWSN). However, the implementation of inclusive education in rural and non-formal early childhood institutions remains limited and under-researched. This study aims to describe the preliminary implementation of inclusive education at Pos PAUD Jati Waluyo, a community-based non-formal ECE institution located in rural Banyumas Regency, Indonesia. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach using a case study design. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and school management, and documentation analysis. The findings indicate that the overall readiness of Pos PAUD Jati Waluyo to implement inclusive education falls into the “quite ready” category, with an average inclusion readiness score of 51.9. Management commitment showed the highest score (70), reflecting strong social acceptance of CWSN, while disability-friendly physical facilities received the lowest score (30), indicating significant infrastructural limitations. Other challenges include limited teacher competence in inclusive pedagogy and the absence of adaptive educational learning tools. Despite these constraints, the study highlights the potential of community-driven initiatives as an early model of inclusive education in rural settings. The findings suggest that strengthening teacher capacity, improving basic accessibility, and fostering cross-sector collaboration are essential to enhance inclusive ECE practices in non-formal institutions.

This research shows that the integration of beatboxing into storytelling activities plays a significant role in supporting the receptive language development of early childhood. Beatboxing serves not only as an entertainment element but also as an effective pedagogical strategy, providing rhythmic and auditory stimulation that captures children's attention, prolongs focus, and increases both verbal and nonverbal engagement. Through this approach, the storytelling process, which was initially one-way, becomes interactive and participatory, enabling children to actively understand the story's meaning. Furthermore, the use of beatboxing also strengthens children's memory, imagination, and courage in expressing themselves through sound. Theoretically, this practice aligns with Lev Vygotsky's concept of scaffolding and the theory of selective attention, where engaging and varied stimuli can enhance children's information processing. Therefore, beatbox-based storytelling can be viewed as a multisensory, interactive, and relevant learning innovation to optimize receptive language development in early childhood, especially amidst the challenges of increasing exposure to digital media.

This study aims to see how Tempo frames its news about the police in these three major cases and how watchdog functions are implemented through its reporting. The study is expected to show how Tempo’s digital newspaper frames the police as an institution marked by abuse of power and lack of accountability, while at the same time carrying out watchdog journalism through critical questioning, strong critiques, and exposure of institutional misconduct.

This research discusses how small acts of kindness can have a big impact on life. children's social early through the analysis of the story of Ela, the Good Little One Heart . This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach to explore the moral values contained in the main character's actions. The results of the study show that simple acts of kindness by Ela, such as helping friends, sharing, showing empathy, and helping living things, can create a harmonious social environment and foster prosocial behavior in other children. These stories have proven to be an effective medium for character education, strengthening children's understanding of the importance of empathy, caring, and responsibility. This research confirms that children's story literacy plays a significant role in developing positive character from an early age.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) empowerment in the Kampung Ketupat Tourism Area, Sungai Baru, Banjarmasin City, and to identify its determining factors. A qualitative approach with a descriptive design was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed interactively, supported by fishbone analysis to identify root causes. The findings reveal that MSME empowerment has not been effective, as indicated by declining revenues, low tourist visits, and the cessation of MSME activities by the end of 2025. The main factors include limited human resource capacity, lack of access to capital and facilities, unintegrated promotion strategies, inadequate environmental conditions, and weak institutional and policy support. Institutional aspects emerge as the dominant factor due to unclear governance, directly affecting business sustainability. This study highlights that the effectiveness of MSME empowerment in tourism areas depends on the integration of internal and external factors and the strengthening of collaborative governance.
