The Role Of Traditional Yoyo Games In Improving Fine Motor Intelligence In Early Children

Abstract

Early childhood cannot be separated from the world of play. The traditional yo-yo game is one of the games that children can play. The traditional yo-yo game is a game that consists of two discs of the same size connected by an axis. Fine motor intelligence can be stimulated with the traditional yo-yo game. The research method for the traditional yo-yo game uses a qualitative approach. The data analysis used in this research is content analysis. Researchers use this content analysis model to reveal messages from previous research related to the traditional yo-yo game and the study of fine motor intelligence as research objects. The results of research examining several related sources show that the traditional yo-yo game can improve fine motor intelligence. It is clear that the traditional yo-yo game is able to develop fine motor movements, namely the movements of the fingers and wrists that occur in the process of playing the yo-yo game. The aim of the results of this research can be as additional material in reading the traditional yo-yo game
