Abstract

Eco enzyme is a liquid from organic waste management made from fruit and vegetable peels that can be used for economic value. The eco enzyme contains H3COOH acetic acid which functions as a killer of germs, viruses, and bacteria (Iswati, 2021). This processed product has not been fully maximally applied in the household scope, including in Sitirejo village, Malang Regency. The purpose of the research in Sitirejo Village is to understand the programme's implementation to maximise the potential of producing quite a lot of fruit with the dominance of salak fruits, oranges, and apples which often accumulate organic waste as an eco enzyme product. This study uses a qualitative purposive sampling approach with direct interview techniques and questionnaire filling. The result of this study is that the people of Sitirejo Village have high enthusiasm because it is a new thing and has economic value, this is evidenced by the fact that 80% are still in the process of implementation and 10% can be harvested. Therefore, it can be concluded that the efforts to implement the eco enzyme programme as an effort to process sustainable waste at the household level in Sitirejo Village, Malang Regency have a good and successful response category.
