Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Adiwiyata Mandiri program in Junior High Schools (SMP) in DKI Jakarta Province. Environmental education is very important to be taught in the midst of increasingly complex environmental problems. The Adiwiyata program is one of the best ways to shape the character of environmental care by integrating it into learning activities and habituation activities at school. This research uses an evaluative method with the CIPP model (context, input, process, product). Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results showed (1) the context aspect, the implementation of the Adiwiyata program is in accordance with the foundation of program implementation, vision, and mission in accordance with the aspects being evaluated; (2) the input aspect, the implementation of the Adiwiyata school program has carried out its responsibilities; (3) the process aspect, implementation activities up to monitoring and evaluation are in accordance with the Adiwiyata program implementation activity plan; (4) the Product aspect, there is a significant increase in environmental care attitudes and environmental quality at school.
