Abstract

The concept of experiential learning is becoming more prevalent in education. The current study describes higher education participants' perspectives on English language learning methods to teach young learners and lessons learned from adopted English language learning methods during teaching practice. A qualitative method was adopted for data collection. The group of data is gathered from 8 English language students via written reflections. The findings show that they have acquired the required theoretical knowledge about English language learning methods for teaching young learners at a reasonably good and applied them in practices of teaching English to young learners. However, their perspectives on the experiential learning during teaching practices are less explored.  A smaller consideration is given to focus attention on their perspective, value, personal behaviour, social pressure, or emotion.
